Veenapani Lalit Kala Samaroh

Vivekananda Kendra Shiksha Prasar Vibhag, Tezpur organized the 1st veenapani Lalit Kalasamaroh,- a cultural competition for the students of vivekananda Kendra vidyalayas at vivekananda vidyalaya, Golaghat on 15, 16 & 17 December 2006. in the Samaroh various events of Performing Arts like  1) Bhajan/Borgeet 2) Patriotic song 3) Sattriya Nritya 4) Classical Dance (Solo) 5) Instrumental Performance (Table) 6) Recitation 7) Mime were performed by the students of twelve Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalayas. There were 161 participants in the samaroh out of which 72 were boys and 89 were girls.Along with the students, 31 teachers also attended the Samaroh. The Inaugural Programme of the Samaroh was conducted on 16 December 2006.Dr.Jagannath Mahanta, Principal,sattriya sangeet Mahavidyalaya,jorhat was the Chief Guest in the programme. He hoisted samaroh flag and declared the meet open. Sri Dipok Kr.Goswami,DC, Golaghat also graced theProgramme.The compeition for different events stirted after the Inaugural Programme.The Competition for different events started after the inaugural programme .The Valedictory programme of the samaroh was held on 17 December 2006. Sri Munin Baruah, noted Film Director wsa the Chief Guest in the programme.There was active participation of the parents and well-wisher of VKV Golaghat in the programme .

Srimanta Sankardev Natya Pratiyogita

The 3rd srimanta sankardev Natya Pratiyogita was conducted in women's college Auditorium - uttaran, at Tinsukia, on 5 November 2006. Ten vidyalayas of vKsPv participated in thepratiyrmgrfa. The Best Play prize went to vKv Bokuloni for Hati oi hati; the 2nd Best Play went to vKv Golaghat for chaneki and the 3rd prize was won by vKv Majuli for chanh puhoror Geet. The competition was inaugurated by Dr. pona Mahanta, noted theatre critic' He also gave away the prizes to the participants.

Gita Chanting Competition

The final round of the Gita chanting competition was held on 4 November in Vivekananda vidyalaya, Tinsukia. There were 11 participants in the competition.The winners in all the four groups were students of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Tinsukia.

Acharya Prashikshan Shibir for KG teachers

 

A six day Acharya Prashikshan Shibir for KG teachers was organized by VKSPV in Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya  (NEC), Baragolai from 25 to 30 October 2006.There were 23 participants in the shiber. The focusof the shiber was on the play Way Method of teaching.

Aryabhata Science Seminar & Maha Bhaskara Shastra Vijnan Pradarshini

The Science Seminar for AryabhataTrophy and Maha Bhaskara Shastra vjnan pradarshini were organized from 19 to 21 September 2006 in Vivekananda Kendra Vidyaiaya (NEC) Baragolai, Margherita. There were 54 participants in the two programmes. The programmes were in two groups-Junior and Senior. ln the Junior group 11 Vidyaiayas and in the senior group 7 Vidlahyas participated. The inauguration programme for the Siience Seminar wds on 19 September 2006. The Guest of Honour in the function was Sri A. K. Bora, General Manager,North Eastern Coalfields,Coal lndia Limited' The Shastra Vijnan Pradarshini was inaugurated in the afternoon of I9 September by Sri Vishwas Lapalkar, Secretary VKSPV. ln the senioi group 7 Vidyatayas participaied. Theinauguration programme for the Science Seminar was on 19 September 2006.Topics for science seminar for Aryabhata Trophy which was held on 19 september 2006.

The Valedictory Function for the two programmes was on 21 September 2006. The Chief Guest was Dr. R. Patnaik, CMO, North Eastern Coalfields, Coal lndia Limited. He also gave away the prizes the to winners. One of the special guests in the function was Sri Rohan Bora, a student of VKV Golaghat, who represented our nation in Stockholm, Sweden in the Junior Water prize Competition.He also gave away the prizes to the participants.

Theatre Workshop for Teachers

A Theatre Workshop for the teachers of Vivekananda Kendra Shiksha prasar Vibhag was organized on 9 & 10 September in Vivekananda Kendra lnstitute of cutture, Guwahati. There were 18 participants in the workshop, including 2 Didis. Sri Arun Sarma, noted theatre personatity, inaugurated the workshop on 9 September 2006. The workshop focused on different aspects of theatre like Script'Writing, Acting, Production, Music etc. Sri K. K. Choudhury, Regional Officer, CBSE, Guwahati Region, who is himself a good actor, was present in the Valedictory Function of the workshop.
