A Teachers' Orientation Camp for senior teachers completing 12 years of
service in VKVs of Assam and Nagaland was conducted with the focus on
Team building and devolopment of leadership quality. Sri Arvind Gore, an
eminent educationalist from Pune, was the main resource person in the
camp. Swami Sumanasanandaji Maharaj, Seceretary, Ramkrishna Mission,
Cherrapunjee blessed the participants during the inaugural address.
Mananeeya Nivedita Bhide & Sri D. Bhanudas, Vice President and
General Secretary of Vivekananda Kendra Knyakumari respectively also
guided the participants. Prof. Alak Kr. Buragohain, Vice Chancellor,
Dibrugarh University and Sri H.K. Changmai, HOP, NEEPCO, Bokuloni graced
the valedictory ceremony on 23rd - 26th August 2014; 117 teachers; VKV (NEEPCO) Bokuloni.

Mathematics Workshop
A Mathematics Workshop for teachers of Primary Section of VKVs was
conducted with the focus on learning teaching methods so as to strengthen
the base of students in Class-VI. Dr. P.K. Chaurasia, Associate
Professor, Department of Education (Science), Regional Institute of
Education, was the resource person in the camp on 2nd - 4th August 2014; 42 teachers; VKV Dibrugarh.
