Webinar On Covid-19 And Its Economic Impact

 

An online session on 'Covid-19: Its Socio-Economic Impact and Related Issues'was held on 14th June 2020 for the teachers of Social Science and Environmental Studies of VKVs. Sri Ritu Kumar Mishra, International Civil Servant, UNO, Africa was the resource Dr. Manashi Sharma person of the session, which 83 participants attended. On 25th June he conducted another session for the librarians and a few selected teachers of Social Science and English. The topic of the session was 'Famous Books and Inherent Ideas in Them'. 101 teachers attended it.

Webnairs For Libraians

 

On 24th June 2020 an Interactive Session on 'The Role of Librarians during Covid19 Pandemic' was conducted for the librarians of all the VKVs. Dr. Kishor Satpathy, Chief Librarian, Indian Statistical Institute, Kolkata addressed the participants.

Online Session For Science Teachers

On 15th June 2020 an online session for the teachers teaching Science was conducted on Effective Ways of Simulation. Sri Ravindra Godbole, Metallurgical Engineer, IISE Bangalore was the resource person of the session in which 45 teachers took part.

World Environment Day

 In order to raise global awareness among the students about taking positive environmental measures to protect the planet Earth, VKV Tezpur celebrated World Environment Day on 5th June 2020.Students of various classes ardently took part on the day’s programme. They planted saplings at their respective homes and shared some pictures with the teachers through Google Meet.
