Admission

Admission Procedure: 

Admission into various classes is granted on the basis of a test and an interaction with the student and his/her parents after verification of the particulars. Application and Prospectus are made available in School Office. For Class XI, the admission procedure commences just after the announcement of AISSE Results by CBSE. Principals of the respective schools may be contacted for more details.

Online Session For Subject Teachers

 


VKSPV organized online subject specific sessions for its teachers from time to time for the benefit of all the teachers of VKVs teaching different subjects.These were fruitfully conducted by a few senior and experienced teachers of different VKVs, Headmasters of different Vidyalayas and VKSPV officials. The numbers of sessions conducted during the session are presented on the left. The sessions were not only significant in terms of sharing the best practices of the online schooling among the teachers teaching the same subject in different VKVs, but also they gave all the subject teachers a platform for discussing of important and urgent matters related to syllabus, question patterns, exams etc.

Personality Development Camp

 Vivekananda Kendra Prathamik Vidyalaya, Jengraimukh organised two Personality Development camps for the students of Classes VI and VII at Phulani High School and Major Deori H. S. School in the month of March 2021. Number of students who participated in the camps were 53 and 24 respectively.

Ganit Pranja Samvardhan

  
Appreciation Programme: Ganit Prajna Samvardhan (GPS) is a step to appreciate the efforts of the top rankers of Ganit Prajna Pariksha as well as to expose them through interactions to renowned mathematicians and educationists.Every obstacle is an opportunity for a new venture. Considering Covid-19 restrictions, the team GPS organized an appreciation programme online on 26 November 2020. Prof. D. C. Nath, Vice Chancellor of Assam University Silchar appreciated the students for their excellent performance. All rankers were encouraged by other dignitaries as well including Sri Pravin Dabholkar, Joint General Secretary, VK Kanyakumari. It was attended by 130 top 10 rankers and the teachers from 21 VKVs of Assam and Nagaland.

          


Exposure Sissions:
Two sessions were conducted by Sri Mahendra Karkare of Karkare Academy, Mumbai on how to prepare in Mathematics for competitive Exams. 76 top ten rankers of classes VI, VII and VIII who attended the sessions were highly inspired.

Ganit Prajna Pariksha(GPP):VKSPV organizes various activities for all round development of individuals. As a part of it VKSPV initiated the activity Ganit Prajna Pariksha for the students of classes VI, VII and VIII in VKVs of Assam and Nagaland with the aim to enhance the capacity of students in the subject Mathematics.GPP is organized with a motive of understanding students' learning difficulties in Maths and helping them out. It also creates a better environment for learning Mathematics with a mind free from trauma.Various workshops are conducted for motivating students besides providing them a GPP Question bank for practice.The GPP 2021 was held in March 2021. A total of 2557 students appeared in the GPP in all the 3 eligible classes i.e. classes VI, VII and VIII, of which 105 students have secured the first 15 ranks.

Career Counselling Programme

VKV (NEEPCO) Doyang organised a Career Counselling Programme for the students of class X on 19th March 2021. A total of 32 people attended the programme including both students and teachers. Sri Laishram Yamaiba Khuman, Asstt. Manager (HR), DHEP, NEEPCO was the Resource Person in the programme. He focused on the range of career options in all the streams after passing class X, XII and graduation.

Acheivements Of Students And Teachers 2020-21

Two students of VKV Ramnagar Silchar, Sri Bibhab Saha of Class VII and Sri Soumen Dey of Class X took part in a Quiz Competition organized by Amul Dairy Cooperative Society on the occasion of Amul Day and were selected for the National Level competition.


Indian Science Techno Festival, Gujarat organized a Science Techno E-quiz, in which Sri Bibhab Saha of Class VII, VKV Ramnagar Silchar bagged a silver medal.

Kadambari Mudiar of VKV Nalbari won a gold medal in 100 meter sprint in the girls' under 16 category in 32nd East Zone Athletics Championship, which was held in Indira Gandhi Athletics stadium, Guwahati from 28 to 29 December 2020. She was awarded a sports scholarship of Rs. 12,000/- for the session 2020-21.
Madhurjya Kashyap (XI) of VKV Nalbari won a Bronze medal in Long Jump in the boys' under 16 category in 32nd East Zone Athletics Championship, which was held in Indira Gandhi Athletics stadium, Guwahati from 28 to 29 December 2020. He was awarded a sports scholarship of Rs. 19,000/- by Assam Government for the session 2019-20.


Nishita Haloi (XI) of VKV Nalbari won a Bronze medal in 80 meter Hurdles in the girls' under 16 category in 32nd East Zone Athletics Championship which was held in Indira Gandhi Athletics stadium, Guwahati from 28 to 29 December 2020.


Prabal Dutta (X) of VKV Nalbari was awarded a sports scholarship of Rs. 19,000/- by Assam Government for the session 2019-20.


Smt. Sanchita Roy, a teacher of VKV (NEEPCO) Doyang won the 1st prize in an All India level essay writing competition conducted on the theme “Why I Love India” for the youth in the age group 19-30 years by Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Foundation, Kodungallur.


Smt. Nirmala Singh, a teacher (Science) of VKV Suklai won PCM Teacher’s Award 2020 for an online teaching contest conducted by Progressive Curriculum Management Council, Ernakulam, Kochi, Kerela.

Badminton Tournament

 A badminton tournament was held for the students of Classes IX and X at VKV (NEEPCO) Doyang in the last week of January 2021. It was followed by a prize distribution ceremony graced by Sri Prabir Kumar Ghosh, DGM, Civil, NEEPCO as a special guest. A total of 46 persons attended the programme.

Matri Sanmilan


Matri Sanmilan was observed at VKV Tingrai on 15th January 2021. On the occasion, mothers of Primary students were invited to take part in different events organized by the school like games, songs, dances, recitation etc. A group discussion on various topics was also conducted for the mothers present in the programme. Smt. Rubi Ranjana G. Jaglari, a renowned poet and writer, delivered the speech stressing on the role of a mother in strengthening her family and the society.

National Youth Day

 On 12th January 2021, Swami Vivekananda Jayanti (National Youth Day) was celebrated with much grandeur and zeal at VKV, Khatkhati in collaboration with VK, RWP, Khatkhati. The Headmaster of the Vidyalaya Sri Subash Verma delivered the address of welcome and highlighted the significance of the day. The different activities included a group song by the students of Classes II, III and IV, Naam Kirtan by the Bhaktas and a prayer led by Sri Dimbeswar Gogoi, Karyakarta-in-Charge, VK RWP, Khatkhati. The programme was attended by 250 persons.


National Youth Day was celebrated at VKV Ramnagar, Silchar also with the same spirit and enthusiasm.The occasion was marked by different programmes presented by the students of Classes IV and V.The members of Krida Bharati, Cachar along with the students of the school demonstrated yoga and martial art on the occasion.



On 12th January 2020, on the occasion of National Youth Day and School Annual Day, VKV Tingrai organised a traditional Assamese Food Exhibition for the ladies of the village and a total of 8 participants exhibited various types of traditional snacks. The exhibition was inaugurated by Smt. Anuradha Saikia, Mauzadar of Kheremia Mouza, Sri Mohendra Sonowal & Sri Durgeswar Saikia,both members of the School Management Committee along with Sri Monoj Sarma, Headmaster of the school. Besides this, the other programmes like creative dance, drama, group song etc. were also presented.
