Alumni Meet

on the occasion of UNIVERSAL BROTHERHOOD DAY organized Alumni Meet of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya by Vivekananda  Kendra Kanyakumari, Assam Prant. The Alumni Meet date was Sunday, 11th Sep 2022 & Venue was Vivekananda Kendra Institute of Culture, UzanBazar, Guwahati. 

On the auspicious occasion of Universal Brotherhood Day on 11th Sep. that commemorates the Historic Chicago Speech of Swami Vivekananda, Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Assam Prant organized a one-day Alumni Meet for the former students of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalayas of Assam, Nagaland and Arunachal Pradesh who are staying in Guwahati.

In Alumni Meet

Mangalacharan sung by Leena Rajbonshi & Aasma Parveen. School prayer (He Prabhu Aanandadata) by Lima, Leena, Panchali, Uma, Aasma, and Rimjhim. Su. Reboti Devi, Joint Secretary delivering welcome address.

Alumni were made sit school wise and they were Getting introduced to each other. Alumni sitting pass out year-wise. (Pass out batch: 1990-1995) Introduction of Karyakartas, Kamrup Vibhag. Introduction of former/present teachers of VKV. Presentation on 50 Years journey of Vivekananda Kendra by Neeldeep Chakraborty, Senior teacher, VKV Tinsukia. 

Dr. Soumitra Pujari, Saha Prant Pramukh, VK Kanyakumari, Assam Prant stated that the present generation needs the message of Universal Brotherhood, love and service motive for the Nation to restrict the severe Brain Drain process in the country. Chicago speech delivered by Siddhant. Patriotic song by Panchali, Flora, Lima, Kaberi, Leena. Experience sharing by a few alumni. Vote of thanks by Sri Subrata Mukherjee
