Ganit Prajna Samvardhan 2022

Ganit Prajna Samvardhan, an initiative of Vivekananda Kendra Shiksha Prasar Vibhag, Guwahati ( a project of Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari)  is to promote mathematics learning for the students of VKVs in Assam and Nagaland has been successfully completed at NIT Silchar and VKV Ramnagar Silchar on 16 Oct 2022. It was a three-day appreciation and exposure program for the higher achievers (top ten rank holders in VI and VII and top 15 rank holders in VIII) of  Ganit Prajna Pariksha-2022 (GPP). 83 students and 40 maths teachers participated in it. Students got the opportunity to interact with the eminent scholars of NIT Silchar also interacted with resource persons from different reputed institutes of Barak Valley and Raman Research Institute, Bangalore as well as got the chance to visit good number of departments in Assam University Silchar and NIT Silchar. GPS Students presented different topics of maths through PPT and also explained various concepts of maths through Lab activities.VKV Golaghat bagged the best performing school in GPP, VKV Sivasagar bagged the second best performing school and VKV Ramnagar bagged the third best performing school award in GPP. Being the coordinator for GPP, I feel awesome to organize it with full cooperation from all VKSPV members, all Principals and vice Principals, teachers, students, and core team members of Ganit Prajna Pariksha.Thanks to all for your wholehearted support. It was a lifetime experience for the achievers also.
