On the occasion of World Environment Day, the Eco Club of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (VKV) Dhemaji organized a successful plantation and awareness drive, reinforcing their commitment to environmental conservation.
The enthusiastic team of students, along with the support of Balvatika I parents, planted a total of 80 saplings in various locations. The initiative extended beyond the Vidyalaya premises to include the nearby Namghar and government school, fostering a sense of community involvement in environmental protection.
The drive not only focused on increasing green cover but also aimed to raise awareness about the importance of sustainable practices. The Eco Club members engaged with the community, sharing information about the benefits of trees and the role each individual plays in preserving our planet.
The participation of Balvatika I parents added a special touch to the event, demonstrating the power of collaborative efforts in nurturing a greener future. Their involvement served as an inspiration to the young students, emphasizing the importance of environmental consciousness from an early age.
The VKV Dhemaji Eco Club's World Environment Day initiative stands as a testament to their dedication to creating a sustainable and eco-friendly environment. The drive not only contributed to the local ecosystem but also instilled a sense of responsibility and environmental stewardship among the participants.
