Success of VKV students in various competitive examinations has been always remarkable. The statistics of the last academic session substantiate it:

In particular VKV Tinsukia turned out the highest number of successful candidates this year in competitive exams, the success achieved by any single school so far in the Tinsukia district.
Superior Performance at Science Fairs
Having topped at a state level Science Fair at Regional Science Centre, Guwahati for his model, Yasin Shahtaz Emanee, a student of VKV Golaghat represented Assam in the 34th Eastem India Science Fair 2009 held from 6th to 11th January 2009 at Birla Industrial and Technological Museum, Kolkata where proving himself yet again he bagged the second prize in the Science Quiz Competition. The fair was attended by representatives of 13 states of the eastern zone,
