VKV Dhemaji Celebrates 78th Independence Day with Patriotic Fervor

Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (VKV) Dhemaji marked the 78th Independence Day with a vibrant celebration filled with patriotic enthusiasm. The event saw active participation from students, teachers, and parents, totaling an attendance of 145.

The day commenced with the flag hoisting ceremony at 7:30 am, setting the tone for the patriotic events that followed. The Principal delivered an inspiring speech, reminding everyone of the sacrifices made by freedom fighters. Students and teachers showcased their love for the nation through soul-stirring patriotic songs.

A highlight of the celebration was the inauguration of the handwritten magazine, 'Legacy of the Brave.' This initiative was lauded by esteemed guests, Sri Rajumoni Bhuyan, Associate Professor at Dhemaji Commerce College, and Sri Premananda Talukdar, President of Dhemaji Sahitya Sabha. The magazine serves as a testament to the students' creativity and their deep respect for the nation's history.

Adding to the day's achievements, VKV Dhemaji's boys' and girls' teams secured third prize in the March Past competition organized by the District Administration at the public field. Their disciplined performance was a source of pride for the entire school community.

The 78th Independence Day celebration at VKV Dhemaji was a resounding success. It not only instilled a sense of patriotism in the young minds but also showcased their talent and dedication.
