📚 Academic Brilliance
Sahadev was a bright student from the very beginning. He passed Class 10 in 2010 with an 8.8 CGPA, followed by Class 12 (Science) in 2012 with 70.2%. He pursued higher education with equal commitment, earning his Bachelor of Engineering degree from Malwa Institute of Technology and Management in 2016, securing 70.8% marks.
🎖️ Journey of Service
In 2017, driven by a deep desire to serve the nation, Sahadev joined the Indian Army as a soldier. With strong leadership and relentless dedication, he rose through the ranks and was commissioned as a Lieutenant—a moment of pride not just for him and his family, but for every VKVian.
🏃♂️ Excellence in Sports & Leadership
Sahadev’s leadership qualities were visible from his school days. He was the Captain of the VKV Baragolai Kho Kho team, representing the school in CBSE National Championships in 2010 (Chhattisgarh) and 2011 (Haryana). He also participated in four CBSE Cluster tournaments and two Vivekananda Krida Mahotsavs, leaving a mark with his athletic prowess.
Even during his college vacations in 2016 and 2017, he returned to train the VKV Kabaddi team, preparing them for Cluster and National competitions. This selfless act of mentoring juniors reflects his strong bond with his alma mater and his natural instinct to lead and serve.

Lt. Sahadev Chetry’s life journey—from a sincere student and sports captain to a commissioned officer in the Indian Army—is a testament to the values instilled by VKV: discipline, service, dedication, and patriotism.
