150th anniversary of Vande Mataram, VKV Tezpur

On the momentous occasion of the 150th anniversary of Vande Mataram, VKV Tezpur paid a heartfelt tribute to the national song through a series of cultural performances. The programme began with a patriotic song by students of Classes IV and V, followed by classical dance performances to the tune of Vande Mataram. A student of Class XI delivered a speech highlighting the relevance of the national song in modern India. A choral rendition of Vande Mataram, accompanied by traditional music played by secondary students, added grace to the event. Meanwhile, primary students expressed their patriotism by making tricolour badges and drawing national flag .The celebration beautifully reflected the spirit of unity, patriotism, and reverence for the motherland.
