'To practise leadership by leading a group in real life, and serve Motherland'
2-6 July, VKV Golaghat
Participating students: 88, Participating teachers: 20
VKSPV conducts a Samskar Varga Prashikshan Shibir (Value Education Training Programme) every year to give students real life situations to lead people so that they can cultivate in themselves all that leadership demands. As opposed to the ostensible effectiveness of speeches and stories in developing leadership in students, these Shibirs strive to inculcate good values in students through games, stories, songs etc. giving them also a forum to practise leadership. This time round 88 students and 20 teachers partook in the 5-day residential Shibir. Charged with the spirit and zeal of our National leaders the participants expressed all their readiness to serve their Motherland.
Special Guests: Sri Harendra Nath Bora, Deputy Commissioner, Golaghat district inaugurated the Shibir and Smt. Arati Saikia, Renowned Social Worker, Golaghat blessed the participants in the concluding session.
